The "Naturista Gowi Saviya" farmers' association was established in late 2024 under the "Naturista Prana Sathkara" program. The primary goal is to unite individuals cultivating medicinal plants, herbs, and wild medicinal plants across Sri Lanka and to strengthen their livelihoods by creating a market that leverages these resources.

By late 2025, more than 300+ farmers and suppliers had joined forces with Naturista Gowi Saviya. Raw materials are sourced in an environmentally responsible manner — avoiding harm to the plant ecosystem and preventing accumulation or wastage during transportation.

Innovative Product Development

Empowering housewives with no income source by establishing a programme where they can collect naturally available raw materials from their surrounding environment and supply them to the company. Providing seeds, farming tools, and technical guidance for home cultivation of required ingredients, thereby reducing rural poverty and engaging them as business contributors to national production.

Improving Agricultural Technical Knowledge

Officers with specialised degrees in agriculture conduct awareness programmes on new farming techniques and minimising crop damage. The focus is on reducing chemical fertiliser and pesticide use, promoting eco-friendly alternatives, and educating farmers on the serious impacts of chemical compounds on their health and the ecosystem. Guidance is also provided on sustainable harvesting of wild plants to avoid damage to the plant system.
