🏆 Gammalu (Pterocarpus marsupium), also known as Gammalu Marsupium, is a plant renowned for its valuable medicinal properties in traditional Ayurveda. It is referenced in Kirielle Gnanavimala Thero's Local Medical Dictionary (pages 169–170) and in Osathuru Vishuturu – Third Chapter (page 58), published by the Department of Ayurveda. Native to India, this large tree can grow up to 70–80 feet tall. According to Osathuru Vishuturu, four types of bark are recognized as Gammalu varieties. The wood of the Gammalu tree is exceptionally strong and highly durable, making it valuable both medicinally and for traditional uses.

🏆 A study conducted by Professor H.K.I. Perera has strongly confirmed the antidiabetic properties of Gammalu, often referred to as the "milk of the village" in traditional medicine. In addition to this, numerous studies worldwide — particularly in India — have supported its effectiveness. As a result, Gammalu wood cups are now widely used by diabetic patients for their natural blood sugar-regulating benefits. Beyond diabetes, Gammalu is traditionally used in Ayurvedic medicine to help manage a variety of conditions, including fever, high blood pressure, gallstones, insomnia, indigestion, and dysentery.

🔹 Usage Instruction:

⭕ To preserve its natural medicinal properties, this product is made from raw materials with no coating on either side.

⭕ As a result, depending on the climate, natural algae may develop on the surface on both sides.

⭕ Before first use, fill the cup with hot water and cover it for about 2 hours. Wipe the inside and outside with a clean cloth, then place it in direct sunlight for approximately 6 hours.

⭕ According to Mr. Piyal Marasinghe, Senior Botanist, the natural algae that may form are not harmful. They can be destroyed by rinsing with hot water and easily removed by wiping with a clean cloth.

⭕ However, placing the cup in sunlight helps the wood to mature, and with regular use, the formation of algae naturally reduces over time.

☕ Fill the Gammalu cup with clean water and let it sit for at least 10 hours. Drink this water in the morning on an empty stomach. Follow this daily routine for 30 days to experience a noticeable difference.
