🏆 The scientific name of the plant is Flueggea leucopyrus, commonly known as Heen Katupila in Sri Lanka and referred to as Sharapunkha in Ayurvedic medicine. 🔴 Properties of the Katupila plant,

In terms of medicinal properties, Katupila is known for its astringent and bitter taste. It is characterized by three primary qualities: lightness, roughness, and sharpness. In Hela medicine, various parts of the plant - including the leaves, bark, fruits, flowers, and roots - are used for therapeutic purposes. Beyond its medicinal applications, Katupila is also valued in traditional cuisine. A nutritious porridge is often prepared using its young sprouts and leaves. The leaves can also be cooked as a curry with lentils or used to make mallung, a traditional Sri Lankan leafy vegetable dish.

🔹 Usage instruction: 

Naturista Katupila Powder can be used in several ways,

• Can be used as a drink.
• Can be prepared as a porridge.
• Can be mixed with food. (Add one teaspoon of powder to a curry twice a week when preparing meals.)

1. Method of consuming Naturista Katupila powder as drink,

• Add 2 ½ spoons of Naturista Katupila Powder to a 100ml glass of boiling water and stir well. (Use only the spoon provided with the bottle to measure the powder)
• Allow it to sit for 8 to 10 minutes. 
• Then stir well again and drink.

1. Method of consuming Naturista Katupila powder as porridge,

• Ingredients - 01 teaspoon of Kaupila powder, half cup of red rice, 02 cups of coconut milk, 2-3 cloves of garlic and required amount of salt.
• Method of preparation - Wash the rice, add water, and let it boil. Once the rice is cooked, mash it well. Then, add, coconut milk, 2-3 cloves of finely chopped garlic, 01 teaspoon of Katupila powder and the required amount of rock salt. Mix continuously for about 10 minutes.
• Then, let it cool to a comfortable temperature, stir it well and drink it.

🔹 Consume only once per day on the day of use, 1½ hours after breakfast or lunch, at a convenient time between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., for two days a week.

🔹 Daily use should be avoided.
